“Golf to Give” tourney raises $25,000 for Holiday Baskets

From Idaho Mountain Express:

The Sun Valley Board of Realtors raised $25,000 for the popular Holiday Baskets program during its “Golf to Give” fundraising tournament, according to Brandee Smith, Sun Valley Realtors Give executive director. The event for 22 foursomes took place Friday, June 7 at the Sun Valley Resort Trail Creek golf course. Posing here is the first-place team, from left, Jay Gabe, Juan Flores, Brian Bourgette and Arron Thompson. Board of Realtors Give president Ellie Ellis said, “Our Holiday Baskets recipients are able to give their families a holiday meal and gifts for their children mostly because of the money raised from our annual golf tournament.”

Goal is to raise $30,000 for Holiday Baskets. Every dollar raised helps low-income Blaine County families during the holidays by providing a meal for the family and warm clothing, toys, books and toothbrushes for their children.
